Ariadne CQL Terms and Refund Policy

These terms apply to direct-download Ariadne CQL desktop software and the Ariadne CQL Pro license. By purchasing or using Ariadne CQL Pro, you agree to these terms.

Product and License

Ariadne CQL is a desktop client for ScyllaDB and Cassandra. Ariadne CQL Pro is a one-time $29 account license for Ariadne CQL 1.x direct-download builds. It unlocks unlimited connection profiles, saved queries, extended local history, CSV and JSON file export, write and mutation mode behind the production safety gate, and offline entitlement caching.

The license is tied to the purchasing account and supports up to three active desktop devices. It is not a recurring subscription. The license does not include database hosting, managed database service, or access to any database.

Payment and Delivery

Payment is processed by the secure payment provider shown at checkout. The payment provider handles payment-card data, receipts, and any taxes shown during checkout. Ariadne CQL does not store payment-card details.

Pro access is issued to the authenticated Ariadne CQL account after a verified payment event. You are responsible for providing accurate account and billing information and for keeping access to the purchasing account secure.

Refund Policy

To request a refund, use the public support page. Include the email address used for the Ariadne CQL account and the payment provider's receipt or order identifier. Do not send payment-card numbers, database credentials, private keys, or sensitive query results.

Refunds are provided for duplicate charges, failed delivery or activation that support cannot resolve, and when required by applicable law. Other refund requests are reviewed case by case. The payment provider controls the time it takes an approved refund to appear on the original payment method.

An approved refund, charge reversal, or payment dispute revokes the associated Ariadne CQL Pro entitlement. This policy does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights that apply where you live.

Acceptable Use

Use Ariadne CQL only with databases and systems you are authorized to access. Do not misuse the account, checkout, entitlement, or device-registration services; attempt to bypass license limits; or interfere with service operation.

Availability and Warranty

Ariadne CQL is provided as available. Database compatibility, operating-system behavior, and third-party services can change. To the extent permitted by law, no additional warranties are made beyond rights that cannot legally be waived.

Changes

These terms may be updated when the product, payment flow, or applicable legal requirements change. Material changes will be posted on this public page with a new effective date.
