Ariadne CQL Support
Ariadne CQL is a native macOS client for inspecting ScyllaDB and Cassandra clusters with production safety rails.
Before Contacting Support
- Confirm the database host, port, keyspace, username, and TLS settings match the cluster you are trying to inspect.
- For private CA clusters, import the CA PEM from the connection editor rather than typing a filesystem path.
- Keep read-only mode enabled for production profiles unless you intentionally need write access for the current session.
- Use explicit
LIMITclauses or the Fetch More control for large result sets.
Local Data
Passwords are stored in Keychain. Profile metadata, query history, saved queries, and imported CA files are stored locally on your Mac. Use Clear Local Data in Settings to remove local app data.
Reporting an Issue
When reporting an issue, include:
- macOS version.
- Ariadne CQL version and build number.
- Database type and version, if known.
- Whether the connection uses TLS, private CA PEM import, or username/password authentication.
- The exact error message shown by the app.
Do not include database passwords, private keys, production credentials, or sensitive query results in support requests.
